Gadebusch is located in the North-West of Mecklenburg and is surrounded by meadows, forrests and lakes. many sights expect you e.g. the cathedral St. Jakobus and St. Dionysius with the old chapel. The region offers many possibilities for hiking and biking. The protected landscape "Schaalsee" with its unbelievable flora and fauna is in the vicinity as well. The city is located between Lubeck, Schwerin, Ratzeburg and Weimar. The lakes of Mecklenburg and the Baltic Sea are due to its position easy to reach.
